I think that self analyzing can be challenging… But I
do agree that we really do need to keep an honest check
on ourselves. I use this one sometimes, “Am I the kind
of person I would like to be acquainted with?” and make
it a point to really look within when I ask myself.

I really like this, character is a foundation that we do
not escape. And I do agree, can be developed.

I like how you say talent is a gift but character is a choice.
That is so true. I don’t say anything when people say this but when they say “You have a gift,” when they are referring to some leadership things, it discredits the person for having worked on their skills. It implies that a person is born with leadership skills. Not true. They are honed.
